Great ideas for increasing Membership from fellow Bellevue PTSA leaders:

 

 

 

1.  Ask providers= of After School activities to join.

 

2.  Since I am al= so our Volunteer Coordinator (position not filled yet) my idea was to post that a volunteer opportunity was to bake and bring cookies to the PTA meetings.  Then, when the cookies are delivere= d to the meeting, ask those parents to join.  The Sept Volunteer Opportunities fl= yer went out with the back to school mailing on 8/19 and I already got 2 volunt= eers to bake cookies.

 

3.  I am getting = many e-mails from new parents to Stevenson.  Once I reply to their inquiry, I al= so add, hope to see you at our PTA meeting on Sept 15th and that you'll join o= ur great group of PTA volunteers.

Odle PTSA will be implemen= ting the following strategies to increase membership this year.

 

1.  A new membership fee structure to include couple and family rates, as well as a discounted rate for students/teachers/staff.

 

2.  Weekly drawings for prizes.

 

3.  A let= ter to Odle families who, as of 10/15/05, have not joined.=
